  2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data as well as Type and Purpose of Use of Said Data

    a) When visiting our website
    When you open our website, the browser on your internet device will automatically send information to the server of our website.This information is temporarily saved in a so-called “log file”. The following information is collected automatically (without you doing anything) and is saved until its automatic deletion:

    • IP address of the accessing computer
    • Date and time of the access
    • Names and URL of the files accessed
    • Website from which our website is accessed (referrer URL)
    • Browser used and, if applicable, the systems software of your computer as well as the name of your access provider

This data will be stored separately from any other data that you may enter in our GDF website, and the data will not be matched. The data is analyzed for statistical purposes to help GDF optimize the website and other services.  After analysis, this data is deleted.

The above described data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth download of the website
  • Ensuring a comfortable use of the website
  • Analyzing the system safety and system stability
  • Further administrative purposes

The legal basis for data processing is article 6, paragraph 1, p. 1 lit. f DSGVO (basic regulation for data privacy protection). b) When using our contact form
For any questions or concerns, we provide a contact form on our website for you to contact us. To enable us to answer your questions, it is necessary that you enter a valid e-mail address. The entry of any further data is optional.

Processing of data entered for the purpose of contacting us is effected based upon article 6, paragraph 1, p. 1 lit. a DSGVO and on your freely given consent.

The personal data we have collected for your use of the contact form will be deleted after completion of your request, based upon the legal requirements.

    There will be no disclosure of your personal data, unless it is for one of the below listed purposes.

    We only disclose your personal data to third parties in the following cases:

    • If you have given your consent in accordance with article 6, paragraph 1, p. 1 lit. a DSGV.

    • To request an immediate correction and completion of any personal data stored by us in accordance with article 16 DSGVO.
    • To request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with article 17 DSGVO, unless its processing is required for the excercise of the right of free expression, for fullfilling legal obligations, for public interest or for the enforcement, assertion or defense of legal claims.
    • To request the limitation of processing your personal data in accordance with article 18 DSGVO, insofar as you dispute the correctness of the data, as the processing of the data is illegal, but you decline deletion or as we do not need your data anylonger, but you still need them for the enforcement, assertion or defense of legal claims or as you have filed an objection against data processing in accordance with article 21 DSGVO.
    • To request your personal data which you have made available to us in a structured, conventional and machine-processable format or to request the transmission of the data to another responsible party in accordance with article 20 DSGVO.
    • To revoke your permission at any time in accordance with article 7, section 3 DSGVO. The consequence of this request is that we are not permitted to continue the data processing for which you have given us your consent.

    During your visit to our website, we use the well-known SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) combined with the highest possible encoding level that is supported by your browser. In principle, this is a 256 bit encoding. In case that your browser does not support 256 bit encoding, we instead rely on the 128 bit v3 encoding technology.
